We have been notified by the local health department that two members of our school community have tested positive for Covid-19. School officials have contacted all individuals that are considered to be a close contact. To be considered close contact, individuals are less than 6 feet apart for 10 minutes cumulative throughout the day with or without a mask. All of our classrooms are set up to maximize social distancing, but students need to continue to be mindful of their actions during class transitions and activities beyond the school day.
We are at a difficult time of year with allergy season ramping up. Because many allergy symptoms mirror the symptoms of Covid-19, it is imperative that if your student is exhibiting any symptoms of illness, please keep them home.
We have a lot of activities planned in these final months of school. One sick individual can impact many from participating in these events. Please do your part to minimize the spread so that we can finish the year strong and healthy. Have a good day.
Clymer Central School District would like to thank every single one of our talented instructors! We appreciate the hard work, kindness and dedication you show to students every single day.

Second grade walked around our school Parking Lot, Outdoor Classroom, and our Football Field to pick up garbage in honor of Earth Day on April 22nd. They collected lots of plastic water and milk bottles, candy wrappers, pencils, 12 masks (yikes!), and even torn up socks left on our school grounds!
Second grade wants to remind you to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle! Help keep your community clean!
Calling all spring athletes....If you are interested in participating in girls' softball, boys' baseball, or track please log on to Family ID and register. Family ID closes April 28th.
New guidance for school reopening was released earlier this month. Due to our current in-person model, we do not need to resubmit our plan. However, the new guidance does require us to revise our protocols around masks and face coverings. A letter explaining this change, along with the revised reopening guidance and end of the year celebrate guidance are all posted on our website.
