Quarter 2 begins Monday. As we enter the second quarter of the school year, it is necessary to shift several student schedules (particularly in grades 7-12) to ensure social distancing in the classrooms. Your child will be notified this week if any of these changes affect their schedule. Please speak with your child for an update on their schedule.

SAVE THE DATE - Parent Teacher Conferences: All K-12 students will have an early dismissal on Monday, November 23rd and Tuesday, November 24th due to Parent Teacher Conferences. If a conference is necessary, your child's teacher will be reaching out to you over the upcoming weeks to schedule the conference. This year’s conferences will be a virtual/phone format to ensure the safety of students, staff, and the community. Further information, including dismissal time, will be provided soon.
Our CCS students had the opportunity to “vote” today in a mock election using an official voting machine! Thank you to our FBLA members who served as the poll volunteers! And a special Clymer shoutout to Mr. Bodamer and Mrs. Perry for organizing this! #vote2020
This is an important message from Clymer Central School. In an effort to keep our students safe and engaged in the classroom, students will be asked to keep their cell phones in their lockers. Consequences as specified in the Student Handbook for the misuse of cell phones during the school day will be strictly enforced. If you need to contact your child during the school day, please call the main office and your message will be given to your child. We encourage you to ensure your child is using their cell phones and electronic devices appropriately outside of school hours as well. Thank you for your support in this matter. CCS Notice - With the USDA's extension of the COVID-19 waivers from the prior Emergency Closure; all students, regardless of lunch status, will not be charged for meals through December 31, 2020.
CCS Reminder - This Friday, 10/2/2020 is our Emergency "Go Home" Drill. Students will be dismissed at 2:50pm. Please expect your child to arrive home early. Car riders should be picked up at 2:50pm in front of the school.
The Clymer Central School faculty and staff recently donated diapers and baby formula to Chautauqua County, for distribution to families who are under quarantine or isolation.
