Feasibility Study RFP – Clymer, Sherman, and Panama Central School Districts
On July 30, 2025, the Boards of Education of the Clymer Central School District, Sherman Central School District, and Panama Central School District authorized and directed Dr. David O’Rourke, District Superintendent of Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES, to develop and issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP seeks proposals from qualified firms or individuals to conduct a feasibility study on the potential centralization of the three districts. The RFP will remain open through October 17, 2025. Following the submission deadline, all proposals will be reviewed and selected candidates will be invited to present their plans at a joint board meeting in November. In a joint statement, the Boards of Education of Clymer, Sherman, and Panama affirmed their commitment to “carefully exploring opportunities that may strengthen the delivery of a high-quality, cost-effective education for all students in our communities.” All details regarding the RFP can be found [HERE]. Specific questions related to submissions should be directed to Dr. O’Rourke’s office.
