In accordance with the Coronavirus Health and Safety Guidelines the tennis courts are locked up and all sports fields and playgrounds are no longer accessible. This is implemented to prohibit any group activity. Signage has been posted in the affected areas as a public notice to the community. The walking trail is not affected as long as social distancing practices are followed.

This is an important message from Clymer Central School. There is a survey on the Clymer Website for families interested in picking up meals for a Summer Food Service Program. Good morning, Please listen carefully to the following information from Clymer Central School. Student materials that were left in the school building and final report cards will be available for pick-up on Thursday, June 11 for elementary students and on Monday, June 15 for students in grades 7-12. Student devices and chargers are required to be returned to school in order to receive their personal items. The primary household for the student will be responsible for picking up these items based on our schedule. Items will be grouped together by the youngest child of the household. If you are unable to pick up your items, please arrange for someone to pick them up for you or call the office at 716-355-4444 and make an appointment to pick up your items on Tuesday, June 16.

Beginning Wednesday March 18th, teachers will be remotely providing instructions to students. Clymer Central School will be closed to students through Sunday April 19th. Students and staff are expected to return to school on Monday April 20th. Beginning on Wednesday March 18th, food will be delivered to eligible students between 7:30 and 9:00 am. If you qualify for food delivery, please visit our website under the COVID-19 tab, to complete the form. Students in PreK through 6th grade will also receive instructional materials (Grade 5/6 Chromebooks) the morning of March 18th. Students in grades 7 through 12 can pick up their devices, instruments and/or personal items at school on Tuesday March 17th from 9:00 am-11:00 am, 1:00 pm-2:30 pm or 6:00 pm-7:00 pm. School Closure 3-16-2020:

Due to the 30 day state of emergency issued at 5:00 pm today by Chautauqua County Executive PJ Wendel regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus school will be canceled for all students beginning Monday, March 16th until further notice.

While there are no confirmed cases of the coronavirus/COVID-19, these measures are being taken as a precaution to prevent the spread of the illness. All staff should report to work at their normal time on Monday, March 16th to prepare for an extended school closure and to prepare for Alternative instruction for students. Information on remote and/or technology based instruction will be forthcoming later this week.
