Good Afternoon. Today we were notified by our local health department that two individuals affiliated with our Clymer School that have tested positive to COVID 19. We have completed the contact tracing and have notified all individuals considered a close contact. Clymer school administration will continue to evaluate daily attendance and illness trends to guide decisions that provide the safest environment for our students.

Grades 8-12 will continue with remote instruction through December 22nd and grades PK-7 will continue with in-person instruction. Good Afternoon. We were notified today that another individual from our school has tested positive for COVID 19. We will be notifying anyone that is considered a close contact. Due to the high absentee rate because of quarantine or general illness, grades 8-12 will engage in a remote instructional model through December 22nd. During this time, students are still expected to engage with each of their courses daily as outlined by their teachers. Teachers will also be communicating with their students through email and google classroom. Students in grades Pk-7 should report to school next week unless sick or in a mandatory quarantine. We will continue to evaluate daily attendance and illness trends to provide the safest environment for our students.

Mr. Tedone and Mr. Herbst enjoyed being guest PE teachers yesterday. 1st grade played an exciting game of zoo keeper. Everyone especially the principal was tired after all that running!

UPDATE! After my original message earlier, we received more information that expanded our contact tracing. As a result, several individuals were identified as a close contact and are currently being notified. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused, but we will continue to be transparent as we navigate this pandemic.

Good Afternoon. We were notified earlier today that a Clymer School individual tested positive for COVID 19. Due to our safety protocols and partial remote instruction, no other individuals were identified through our contact tracing. We are closely monitoring community positivity trends and staffing availability, and will provide an update on our 9-12 instructional model for the week of December 14th tomorrow. Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

We were notified earlier today that an individual who tested positive for COVID 19 was on our campus. Due to date that the individual was last on campus, and our partial remote instruction no additional individuals were identified as contacts. Our protocols and safety measures that we have been implementing have demonstrated minimal risk of exposure to our students and staff while here on campus. We will continue to promote and enforce face coverings and social distancing. Also, if your child exhibits any sign of illness please keep them home. Our success is dependent upon everyone working together. Thank you.

We were notified earlier today that an individual who tested positive for COVID 19 was on our campus. The increase of positive cases in our area has impacted our staff and students. Due to a staffing issue, grades 9-12 only will be pivoting to a remote instructional model for the week of December 7th. During this time, students are expected to engage with each of their courses daily as outlined by their teachers. Teachers will also be communicating with their students through email and google classroom. Students in grades Pk-8 should report to school as normal unless sick or in a mandatory quarantine. With the assistance from the health department, we will continue to monitor the situation and provide an update to our families later this week. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these current conditions. It is our hope that we can return to an in person instructional model for everyone quickly.

We have completed our lockdown drill for today. Classes have resumed to their normal schedule.

As part of our emergency response plan, the Clymer Central School will be conducting a lockdown drill this morning. We will notify our families when the drill has concluded.

Good Morning. We have been notified by the health department of a positive case on our campus before the Thanksgiving holiday. We have identified and excluded all individuals considered a close contact to the index case. We will continue to work with the local health department as information becomes available. Your cooperation with completing the daily health check every morning and keeping your student home when they are sick, greatly assists our efforts in maintaining in-person instruction for our students.
