The fifth and sixth grade students got to partake in an escape room so they weren’t stuck in math forever! Some were successful at breaking out while others weren’t so lucky! They ALL loved working together and trying to escape! Some of the fifth graders got to play multiplication squares and work on their multiplying skills to beat their teammate! Both activities were a huge success with the students!

Clymer School had three active cases that were reported the week of September 27th. With every reported case, our leadership team follows a contact tracing procedure to identify any individuals who are considered a close contact. These individuals are required to quarantine for 10 days following the last day of exposure. Identified individuals are not able to test out of this required quarantine. A close contact is anyone who is within 6 feet of the positive case for a cumulative of 15 minutes with or without a mask.
Many of our classes are utilizing our outdoor spaces while, also maximizing the use of all indoor spaces. We continue to evaluate our procedures to minimize the number of students or staff considered a close contact. We continue to need your assistance and keep your kids home when they are sick. The health office has access to resources to assist families with getting kids back to school.
As the cooler weather arrives and social activities continue, remember that social distancing is an effective strategy in minimizing the spread of illness. Please encourage your children to keep this in mind as they participate in Homecoming this weekend. We wish everyone a fun, safe weekend. Go Wolfpack!

Today we were notified of a postive COVID 19 case within our building. We are working with the Chautauqua County DOH to notify close contacts and inform them of their quarantine status. If your child exhibits any symptoms please keep them home and notify the health office.
The Forestry class enjoyed a field trip to George Kirik’s property in Corry, Pa. This is a stump growth tree that has an estimated 4000 board foot of lumber in it. The original old growth tree these grew from, was cut in 1880’s-1900. George and Warren County's Forester, Taylor Chamberlin, led the tour and we are very thankful for their time and sharing their knowledge--
Let's get to know each other.
Today our leadership team did contact tracing for several cases impacting our building. Please, if your child has any symptoms of illness, including minor symptoms, keep them home. We have had great success working with the CCDOH to schedule same day testing and reporting results. If your child is symptomatic, call the health office and we can assist you securing a test. Our continued goal is to maintain an in-person instructional. Your cooperation is essential to our success.
